Learn The Good Creative Media Machine
Move One Program Through Six Connected Lanes
Outcome: you can identify the current lane, complete the primary action, keep the current program context visible, and hand the work to the next useful lane.
Before You Begin
Use A Real Program Record
- Sign in with your own account.
- Choose or create the person or organization and the place involved.
- Choose the current event or program.
- Confirm the date and current status shown in the context bar.
The Numbered Path
Follow The Six Lanes In Order When The Work Calls For It
- Book. Open Book: Events + Programs. Confirm the people, talent, place, room, date, availability, and commitments.
- Build. Open Build: Campaign Studio or the next Build surface named in the handoff. Research and prepare the public media from the current program record.
- Sell. Open Sell: Campaigns + Reach. Connect ticketing or registration, campaign timing, outreach, offers, and revenue work.
- Run. Open Run: Production Control. Confirm schedules, crew, calls, safety, logistics, and the run of show.
- Capture. Open Capture: Choose a Capture Lane. Select streaming, podcast, video, photography, or audio work for the program.
- Share. Use the Share handoff for press, social, media outreach, reporting, proof, archive, reuse, and follow up.
What Good Looks Like
The Record And Handoff Stay Visible
- The lane label matches the work on screen.
- The page states what it helps complete.
- One primary action is clear.
- The current person or organization, place, date, and status are visible.
- The next useful handoff is named.
- Buddy help is optional and practical.
Common Failure
The Wrong Program Is In Context
The failure: work is prepared while the wrong event or program is active. The fix: stop before editing, return to Book: Events + Programs, select the correct record, and confirm the context bar before continuing.
Where This Sits
The Whole Workflow
Book it. Build it. Sell it. Run it. Capture it. Share it. The handoff after Share returns useful proof and reusable work to the Machine Library and the next Book cycle.
